Padma vs. Paris

This is food related…in a way…I guess. So we’re watching TV last night and a Hardees commercial comes on. It’s Doug’s favorite. He actually rewound it…yes, I am a patient woman. This got us talking about how sex sells the cheeseburgers these days and which commercial is the hottest.

So, what’s your opinion? Do you like Padma’s commercial or Paris’ commercial?

Personally, if I want a burger I’d rather Doug grilled one or we went to Salty Dog pub………….but I don’t suppose that’s the point. haha

So, here is the Hardee's commercial with Padma followed, below, by the Hardee's commercial with Paris. Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think. Folks from work have already chimed in and I'll let you know which one "wins".

  1. Well, when Padma says the burger reminds her of being back in high school, I thought "blech!" I'd rather NOT be reminded, thank you very much.

As for the Paris commercial, I thought it was rather disgusting, really, and I think SHE is hideous, and I wouldn't buy anything she was trying to pimp.

  2. Well ... patient you must be BUT at least Padma looks like she really knew how to eat the burger. Paris just looked like a ridiculous trollop!

  3. Here's a sexy commercial of another kind, and this one's comic genius! I still get a kick out of it.

  4. But, laquet, Paris IS a trollop! An untalented one at that. This is probably the best role she has had in years, though I don't find her sexy at all.

    Padma on the other hand...

BTW, I don't know about Carl's Jr., but Hardees is just about the worst of the worst burgers. That's a good commercial though. :-)

  5. WC - I agree, high school isn't some place I long to return. But Padma doesn't look like she had a ummm, regular time in high school. And of course, it's all unbelieveable that a girl like that - ina dress like that - would be eating Hardees. Like that :-)

Jo, so true, Paris did have one other short role I liked - when she slammed presidential candidate John McCain in an ad about running for president. It was hilarious.

Welcome and thank you so much for visiting. If I don't answer you here I will get back to you on your blog. Also have had to switch to approving comments due to some SPAM lately. Alas...

It's been a good run...........
