Mas Carlot, Costiers De Nimes – a bargain at $8.99 a bottle from Market Square liquors.
Grape variety: 60% Syrah, 40% Grenache
Appellation: AOC Costières de Nîmes
Alcohol: 13.5%
Similar to the one we tried last week, this has rich deep coloring and so refreshing, we ought to buy a case. We are really enjoying these roses from the Rhone valley. We had this one with a chicken meal and peach bourbon sauce.
Looks like we are on a Rose mission. So far...we have not been disappointed.
