Casillero del Diablo
This Chilean wine isn’t as robust as a Cabernet or Malbec but it does have appeal with hints of pepper and chocolate. Pinot goes so well with a variety of meals and this pairing with a pork tenderloin was great. So well that we had more than our 1 glass limit. Finished the entire bottle.
Were we sorry? No, we weren’t.
I would pick up more of this full bodied wine for a nice go-to wine when you aren’t sure what to serve. Good pick coming in under $16.
