Wine Wednesday - Foxglove Zinfandel
Getting acquainted with Zinfandels again has been quite pleasant. We have very much enjoyed the XXZin and Castle Rock labels recently, but this Foxglove Zin gets top billing in our explorative journey.
Foxglove is a long legged beauty offering traces of deep red and blue fruits: a 14% wine with a great mouth feel. It’s not a wine you knock back as you may a Beaujolais. You sip this one and savor the rich taste. Priced under $20 I would grab a few bottles of this one again.
