Weekly Meal Planning #3
{ Plus an entertainment update}

Ok, I made it a third week doing this so maybe I can do it all next year. Lofty goals, we will see. As you can tell I am a week behind because I need to plan, take pics and all that. Are you ready for this week? (And by this week I mean the week before....I have the Christmas week in progress and will share soon.)

Let's talk non-food related updates first.

Besides cooking and eating I have been crocheting and reading. Recently started That's Not English by Erin Moore, a good read recommended to me by Joy at Joy's Book Blog.

As for watching movies we finished the last episodes of Mad Men. I was happy with the conclusions and to see where our characters ended up in life. That was a good series, in my opinion. We also watched the latest Mission Impossible movie, Rogue Nation. Tom Cruise came through with a good performance, lots of action in this one.

Without further ado, here is the lineup for meal planning...........

Spaghetti with meat sauce, fried breaded okra and garlic toast.

Grilled Pork Chops, roasted sweet potato and asparagus

Chinese Takeaway! One of my favorites.

I hope you all had a wonderful and restful holiday. Are you ready for 2016?!

I am sharing this with Beth Fish's Weekend Cooking Series.

Weekend Cooking is open to anyone who has any kind of food-related post to share: Book (novel, nonfiction) reviews, cookbook reviews, movie reviews, recipes, random thoughts, gadgets, quotations, photographs. If your post is even vaguely foodie, feel free to grab the button and link up anytime over the weekend. You do not have to post on the weekend. 3. What yummy dinners! We've been eating out a lot more than I intended to lately. This past week was just beyond crazy. We don't do much entertaining but we definitely made up for that this week! I haven't started Mad Men yet but I do want too. I'm glad to hear that the end is satisfying. I hate when you put tons of time into a show and the end is bad.

  4. I've never had okra - I don't think I've even seen it in the green grocers. Hope you had a lovely Christmas. Ours went off ok. Felt pretty shattered on Boxing Day but getting back to normal now. Cheers from Carole's Chatter!

Welcome and thank you so much for visiting. If I don't answer you here I will get back to you on your blog. Also have had to switch to approving comments due to some SPAM lately. Alas...

It's been a good run...........
