Return to The Smokehouse Restaurant

After our last visit to The Smokehouse BBQ restaurant which I wrote about here, we decided to go back and try the BBQ pork. Sooo...glad we did. It was delicious.

We had the BBQ pork sandwich and sides of potato sald and baked beans. Homemade potato sald is fabulous and these folks know how to make it.

Look at this piece of driftwood, carved up as a cool fish.

Another fun ride on a sunny day. Ride to eat........

  3. I really like Jamie yet I do not have a single one of his cookbooks. Check them out of the library all the time though.

Sorry I haven't been online much this past week or answered emails in a timely fashion. Limited time combined with work, cooking, spending time with family and shibas....yeah...pissing and moaning :-)

Thank goodness I can schedule posts.

  4. I am thinking we might have to check out the Smoke House restaurant on a weekend afternoon.

Right now, I am just so excited that cool air is blowing briefly through Tallahassee-YEAH!

  5. I haven't quite recuperated yet from the last time you visited The Smokehouse BBQ restaurant and here you go reminding me!

Love the driftwood. A friend of mine is putting the last touches on a vintage 750 Honda he's been working on all summer. He's trying to convince me that that Fall is the best time to ride. I'm hesitant...

  6. Oh, homemade potato salad is just a zillion times better than anything bought from the store. What a great meal!

  7. Velva - yes...the weather is getting cooler and what a nice time to sit riverside at St Marks and enjoy some good food and pretty sights. Maybe I will see you down there sometime this month.

Louise - Don't you just love BBQ?! Great stuff. Oh and Fall is a great time to ride. We love it. I had not been on a bike in 20 years and I am glad we got back into it. It's fun...if you're careful.

Laura - I may need pointers on French bread or croissants. I'll write you later.

    WC, I agree!

Welcome and thank you so much for visiting. If I don't answer you here I will get back to you on your blog. Also have had to switch to approving comments due to some SPAM lately. Alas...

It's been a good run...........
