Giada's Spuds ....and I Heart Cooking Club

Now for St Patricks day coming up, who do you think of? Giada of course! Over at I Heart Cooking Club we are winding down for the last two weeks of Giada de Laurentiis recipes.

For the Spuds theme I made Giada's baked mashed potatoes with Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. Recipe is posted on Food Network HERE
.

It was the side dish with more fare from Ireland......lamb. Sweet, moist succulent grilled lamb.

Mashed and baked….loaded with Parmesan and mozzarella….ooey gooey. Good wine, great company........

Head over to IHCC and check out Giada's recipes for her last two weeks!

  3. Oh yes! So happy that someone finally made this recipe. Love the idea of the breadcrumbs on top of mashed potatoes. Your lamb chops look mighty tasty too.

  4. Velva - the lamb chops at Costco are a steal and very meaty. The weather has been fabulous! Spring in Tallahassee can't be beat.

Kim - It was so gooey with cheese and I used Panko bread crumbs. Good one and thanks!

  10. Oh, oh & oh ... what's not to like - sheesy, velvety mash, griddled (?) asparagus and succulent lamb - shame it's not Welsh lamb though eh?!? 'cause it's better you know - oh yes!

    I know, I know - St Paddy's day *wink*

  11. Natashya....we love our lamb. These were thick chops too so we were able to keep them medium rare when grilling.

Drick - Doug is the grill master but I have grilled chciken before...because I can do that better and he grills everything else better! Thanks for asking about Tristan - he was issued his M16 and carries it around everywhere. He seems to be doing well...so far!

Mrs. L - Oh puh-lease....we can't get Welsh lamb! But I'd love to try it. Perhaps we can meet somewhere in Wales and you can be the culinary tour guide :-)

  13. Yvette - I would have thought lamb would be easier to get for you. Whenever we find the fat chops we just love to grill them.
