Chateau Ste Michelle Riesling - Wine Review

Chateau Ste Michel Riesling received a rating of 91 points on Wine Enthusiast…..who am I to challenge W.E. ....so we had to try it.

It’s sweet on the first sip but paired so very well with Crispy Mustard-Roasted chicken. That perfect combo of a little kick with the sweet coolness of this wine. It was a great pairing.

For a table wine I don’t like it too sweet but this Riesling goes so well with spicier foods or Chinese.

The winery is located on 105 wooded acres in Woodinville, Washington, 15 miles northeast of Seattle. I was reading Chateau Ste. Michelle is one of the top visitor and historic attractions in the Puget Sound area. Well, we would love to come visit when they had a concert going on.

On the grounds of the winery is an amphitheater where outdoor concerts are performed in summer. Past concerts include Pink , Amy Grant, Tori Amos, Counting Crows, Tony Bennett, Gypsy Kings, Harry Connick, Jr., Crosby, Stills & Nash, The Steve Miller Band, the Dave Matthews Band, Sarah McLachlan, Styx, B.B. King, Yes, and Diana Krall.

We are big fans of Diana Krall and Dave Mathews so that would be an amazing trip for us. Wine and music.

That’s my mini review for this week – cheers!
