Chateau Guiot Costieres de Nimes 2011
Another good French Rose. Blend of Grenache and Syrah from the French southern Nimes region. Dark in color, as a matter of fact, the darkest Rose I have seen. Dark berry flavors.
While we planned to pair it up with grilled fish or a light dish, it went very well with leftover canitas. We are enjoying different roses lately and most are from the French region of Nimes. Recommended!

We have been cutting carbs, which means limiting wine with dinner, but this does look like a good pairing.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to limit wine with a good dinner :-)
