October In My Kitchen
Pouilly-Fuisse and Garlic Chicken with Honey & Rosemary

Happy Saturday. October arrived with cooler weather and we are looking forward to finally eating outdoors again. Today I am linking up with Marg's Weekend Cooking and Sherry's In My Kitchen events.  Let's get to it.

New cutting board - this one has channels around the edge to catch juice.  So when I am cutting a tomato I don't have all that juice running off to the counter.  Winner.

Two of our favorites - Pouilly-Fuissé labels Lupé Cholet and Louis Latour

This cheese was extremely runny. Note to self: don't get it out of the fridge too early,

Publix started carrying these cookies and we had to try them.  Was a bit disappointed the cookies didn't have a beret. Definitely not an everyday indulgence.

I know I posted about this Chicken Ranch Bowl a few weeks back but it's become a favorite go-to and I wanted to share the recipe with the In My Kitchen folks.

Finally, I want to share this good recipe for Garlic Honey Rosemary Chicken from the magazine All Recipes One Pan. Click HERE for the recipe.

That's it for me this time.  I hope all is well in your world and your weather is nice.

    1. BFR - those are two of my favorite wines. I'm enjoying them and what we have as I have to seriously scale back or quit so...savoring the favs.

  2. I think I need to see that magazine — I’m trying to simplify my cooking, so I have to think about one pan at a time for each meal.

    1. Greg, I bet those cutting boards are sold other places besides Publix grocerry stores. It's become a go-to when I start chopping!

    1. Jinjer, you don't need the bacon. It's just a topping as the main protein is chicken. You need those cookies!!

  5. Mmm those cookies... wouldn't it be funny if they had a chocolate beret? You could probably make millions if that was your enterprise :)

    1. DoS, They are very tasty and buttery but a beret would be kinda cool.

  6. The cutting board is a great idea with the ridge to catch juices. I like the French theme of the wine, the cheese, and the cookies.

  7. I picked up the butter cookies too but my Publix didn't have the milk chocolate ones! They were quite tasty regardless. The chicken bacon ranch salad looks so tasty. I need to add the ingredients to my grocery list.

  10. That French wine is extremely appealing as is the d'Affinois cheese, one I often enjoy too.

  11. Love your wine choices, and the brie looks like something I could devour. I also don't like the tomato juices running everywhere :)

  12. French cheese and wine, perfect combination. I will look out for those cookies, the picture clearly shows that there should be a beret. Where is truth in advertising!?
