Rain, rain and more of the same

It's been raining here for almost three straight days. The front yard looks like water front property. We had a tornado warning, we have streets and bridges closed and I am ready for some sunshine!

Our cat Hextall was caught in the rain...far away from the house. What good dogs, drying him off.

Or, maybe they are tasting him.

He was displeased.

Here is what he looks like dry.

We will be stuck in...no motorcycle rides. Can barely get a walk in. At least we have the fisrt two seasons of Buffy!

I'll do food posts tomorrow........ Goodnight.

  4. love this post, my cat Buzzy (a.k.a. the great buzzardo does the same thing...runs in the rain and comes in wet. We always grab paper towels and wipe her off, I think she loves the tradition.

  5. I can see why Hextall was displeased having dog tongues on his beautiful coat!

  6. WC - Not many people get that with Hextall's name. Oh yeah, back in the day he was as scrappy as Ronnie Hextall. He's about 15 years old now though...mellowed.

Donna - Love my babies. Hey I finally figured why I can't post to you - email you later.

Jo- I do have wellies and they are by the door all year round. They came in handy yesterday.

Coconut Girl - They do seem to love being dried off...the attention I guess.

Joie - Loved your French Friday post. Hextall actually likes all the attention.
