Naan Pizza - Nigella Style

Want a fast appetizer? Check this out....

Simple ingredients!

You need 1 Naan, about 8 inches long.
2 teaspoons tomato puree or other tomato sauce
marinated mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped Fontina
fresh thyme stalks

Place your naan out on a cookie sheet. Spread the tomato sauce on top, then add chunks of Fontina cheese. Top this with marinated mushrooms.

This is what it looked like out of the oven...not much different than when it was popped in...but it's now ooey gooey melted together.

Bake at 425 F for 5 minutes...simple!

  5. Alright I'm convinced. I see more and more "flatbreads" being used for pizzas, so I'll have to look for Naan at the grocer now. Love the toppings. Looks like a wonderful light lunch idea.

  7. What a great use for naan bread! I love making homemade naan and this would be a great way to utilize it.
