We don't have any TV feed at all such as satellite, cable or even an antenna....so this this first time I saw Weather Channel in awhile. Same old, same old.

Every day, just enough rumbling to scare the dog. Poor old thing. I actually made him a ‘man-cave” in my closet. A little place to get away.

Love the Man Cave! Haven't had a lot of thunderstorms this year, but on Thursday night it started raining. By the time it stopped on Friday night we had over 8-inches of rain. Fields, roads, basements and driveways flooded everywhere around here. Luckily, we made it through with no problems. Hope your streak of storms ends soon!

ReplyDeleteI'm luvin' our weather but I think I just may be the only one. Everyone keeps complaining about the humidity. It is August after all. Last year it rained almost every single day in August up here so I'm thrilled it isn't. I do feel you pain. Can't send sunshine today because it is quite overcast. Here's some for tomorrow!!!
Hot and dry here. But, our week forecast looks good---low 90s and even some 80s with a chance of much needed rain. (Our cat hates thunder too and can always break into my closet for her fraidy-cat cave.

ReplyDeleteLouise, we have electricity, thanks for asking! We own a tv but we can only watch DVDs with the player. We just have not watched tv or gotten that feed for a couple of years. We read a lot :-) thanks for the sunshine!
Debra, I never knew a cat who afraid of storms. I am glad she has a cat cave. I will send you some of our rain.
That makes me feel better. I thought you were having a power outage. I didn't have a TV for nine years and I LOVED every moment of it. (the kids not to much) I probably wouldn't have cable now if I could figure out a way to connect to the internet with out it!!! Enjoy the "sunshine" and the books:)

ReplyDeleteLouise, It just got to where we weren't watching any tv shows. I don't like reality shows and since satellite is so expensive, we just canceled the entire thing.

Good for you Tina!!! I must set my mind on finding a reliable internet connection so I can dump my cable too. I can't stand most shows on TV with the exception of The Closer which is ending tonight!!!
