Vacation pics from Georgia

Part two of our vacation was spent visiting our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. When we got to the hotel we checked mail, restaurants, etc. on our tablets. Our female shiba isn't a fan of either of us using a tablet or phone. She stares intently whenever we pick up an iPad.

And then she does this Jedi wave of her paw until you put the device down. It looks like she is making a point.

"Let me tell YOU something about YOU that you don't know"

One hot day we used the hotel pool. This was taken prior to Elizabeth changing into her swimming outfit.

It was fun for a bit. Oddly enough the pool water was like a warm bath. I don't now if that is typical but we shall see next year.

Since this was a week of celebrating our anniversary we all went to Savannah and ate at Bonefish Grill. It was delicious, as always, and the service was perfect. Doesn't matter which location you go to, the service is great.

See, I found an astronaut standing outside the restaurant. I boldly took his hand. Our kids look great, don't they?!

Tristan and Angel are such good parents. They partner the duties well, taking turns eating a hot meal when Elizabeth needs a bottle or changing or just needs to be held. This is a happy little girl and it shows.

We were only able to spend 3 days with them but it was so nice to get a hug from them all. I miss them.

I have some photos from a park we visited. Just Doug and I and the shibas. We walked around the lake and saw so many birds. You have to go early because the heat is relentless. Really saps your energy. It's like that here at home too. Get out early and make sure you are inside by noon.

More pics later and some healthy fare from our return home. A few days of restaurant food is all I can take.

Bye for now!

Your granddaughter is so precious, Tina. Everyone looks so happy. I can't wait for my daughter and her family to visit in August.

I know the hugs will only last a while Tina. I guess you'll have to head to Georgia more often:)

Thank you so much for sharing, Tina...
